LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — GPS Dental was named Arkansas Business of the Year in Category V (500+ Employees) during the annual awards ceremony hosted by Arkansas Business on March 5 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
Presented by The Hatcher Agency and UnitedHealthcare, the Arkansas Business of the Year Awards recognize companies and nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated exceptional performance, growth above industry norms, and meaningful contributions to their communities and the state. Finalists in each category were selected by an independent panel of judges.
Founded to provide dentists with the support they need to grow their practices without sacrificing autonomy, GPS Dental offers administrative and management services to dental practices nationwide while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care. The organization has expanded significantly and now supports more than 300 dentists across 28 states.
Dr. Will Little accepted the award on behalf of the organization and reflected on both the honor and the strength of Arkansas’ business community.
“I didn’t expect to win this, so this is coming straight from the heart. First and foremost, thanks to Arkansas Business for highlighting these wonderful businesses in the great state of Arkansas. I mean this is the best state in the world. I firmly believe that in my heart of hearts. I’ve been blessed to go across the country and see all practices, and I can’t wait to be home every time. It’s a wonderful state, and this is such a great event to highlight the businesses in Arkansas.”
Little also emphasized that the recognition represents the collective work of many businesses across the state and encouraged continued support for Arkansas companies.
“I promise we are not the best or anywhere close to, but there’s a lot of great businesses that haven’t been highlighted yet. I challenge each and every one you to find those businesses, bring them here so they can be highlighted and shown you know for the world.”
He also spoke about the challenges businesses faced over the past year and the opportunities those moments can create.
“2025 is probably the most challenging year for our business and probably was for a lot of businesses. I’m not a super big motivational quote guy, but I read one the other day from Nassim Taleb who I respect a lot. It said, “Difficulty wakes up the genius.” So, you know I thought, if you’re going through difficult times in your business, or you haven’t yet, you certainly will, I think we all know that you know that. Just let the difficulty wake up your own genius. So have a great night, thank you very much.”
